I am writing and illustrating a series of picture books for young children.

My dad built an old fashioned black and white darkroom at his home in Nogales, AZ many years ago. He still uses it to develop and print photographs. These are two watercolor paintings of him that I finished in March 2024.

I was inspired, while working at Trader Joe's in 2022-23, to paint fruits and vegetables. These are small oil paintings on wood panel. 

I created the following two series - starting in 2019 with the manikin colored pencil drawings (below) and then the acrylic paintings of my journal entries starting in 2020.
